Upon completion of this module, learners will be able to:
- use R to fit simple linear regression models to model the mean of a variable as a linear function of an explanatory variable,
- produce regression diagnostics in R and use them to assess simple linear regression model conditions, and
- see connections between simple linear regression and some other commonly used statistical procedures.
